Eric HeikesHi! I’m Eric Heikes, a software developer in Portland, Oregon. I’m a fan of open source, Linux, NodeJS, and the web.

I began creating web pages in the dark ages of the 90s, while teaching myself programming. After graduating from Macalester College, I spent 10 years helping build a technology consulting company. At Goodsmiths, I began specializing in front-end web interfaces and the client-side experience.

I am currently a software engineer working on the Banno platform.

My mom is a watercolor and mixed media artist. This is the website that showcases her artwork; I work on it as time allows.
